Prizes awarded during the four night carnival included $400 which went to Debbie Settle of Rixeyville and the $100 second prize was awarded Clore Funeral Home, and according to Joe Brown of that firm, the prize was given back to Sperryville Fire Com pan v for its use.
The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary presented the following prizes: black and white television to Faye Pullen of Washington; afghan to Gid Clater of Sperryville; clock radio to Kathleen Lee of Flint Hill; country ham to David Dodson of Sperryville; handmade doll to Paulette Mills of Sperryville and pot holders to Chris Payne of Culpeper.
The Sperryville Fire Company and Auxiliary expressed appreciation to all who helped, attended the carnival or assisted in any manner with the event.
