Their style of play has won the Rebels a reputation for excellence in the field, on the mound and at the plate. That reputation extends to more than just their baseball skills. “From Manassas to Harrisonburg, everyone we talk to gives us a name for sportsmanship," Foster reported proudly.
Off-Field Sports
The Rebels carry this sportsmanship off the field with them. Last year, they assisted a great deal with the Rappahannock Athletic Association's summer youth league program. “Almost all of the Rebel team helped in some way, as coaches or umpires or something,” Foster said.
