Slaughter
Mrs. Goldie Tobin Slaughter of Falls Church, formerly of Front Royal, died Thursday, July 22, 1982, in the Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital in Arlington.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Richard Bethune. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Slaughter was born in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Kimuel Gilbert and Nora Edna Kidwell Tobin. She was the widow of Francis Warden Slaughter and was a charter member of the Valley Ladies Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary S. Collins of Falls Church, Anne McWhorter of College Park, Md., and Sue Howie of Odenton, Md.; one brother, Robert K. Tobin of Covington; three sisters, Gertrude T. Burn of Front Royal, Margaret Holzier of Locust Grove and Easter Mae Wood of Alta Monte Springs, Fla., and two grandchildren.
