Also taking the March tests were some 7,000 eleventh graders, more than 1,200 seniors and some 4,700 students identified as educationally handicapped.
Juniors and seniors taking the tests were not typical of their classes. Many were transfer students, others had failed one or both tests previously and some were falling behind in the completion of units of credit required for graduation. There presently are no data on Rappahannock juniors and seniors test performance.
