The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church met last Monday with Mrs. Emory Russell with 12 members present.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard were Mrs. Maize Montgomery of .Manassas, Mrs. Hilma Walker and Rue Purcell of Oxon Hill, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cloud of Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. John Kenyon of Manassas and Mrs. Joan Patton and Helen of Stephens City. Mindy Patton returned home with her mother after spending a week with her grandparents.
Mrs. Mary Blaisdell spent the weekend with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krause and Kim at Front Royal.
Mrs. Robert Nethers spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr. at Sperryville. Mrs. Nethers, Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather were dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lewis in Huntly.
Miss Sallie Lillard attended the Goode family reunion at Stanley on Sunday.
Mrs. Nell Brill of Alexandria spent the weekend in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis.
Visiting Mrs. Moffett Brady Sunday were Mrs. Libby Bolton of Warrenton, Mrs. Mary Atkins of Amissville, Miss Paula Bennett of Waldorf. Md., Dickie Brady of Oakton, Charles Brady of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. Emest Crane of Lanham, Md., who were enroute from High Point, N. C., where they visited Mrs. Irene Hamilton.
