Auditions Scheduled
The Rappahannock Players have announced their fall play production which is Next Year Jerusalem written by Carla Eugster. The play is poetry and since it is unknown to many it will be an unusual production that will demand a lot of preparation. The auditions will begin Monday, August 2, at 7:30. This time slot is for adults as well as Wednesday, August 4, at 7:30. Auditions for children will be Tuesday, August 3, at 7:30 and any children between the ages of 9-14 should come then. However, if it is not possible for an adult to came on an adult night they are welcome to come on the children's night and vice-versa. Saturday, August 7, at 2:30 will be set aside for would-be dancers and call backs. The auditions will be held in the Rappahannock County Elementary School in the auditorium. All arc encouraged to audition if interested.
Bloodmobile To Be
In Upperville
The Red Cross bloodmobile will be at the Trinity Episcopal Church, Upperville Monday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be not only the first bloodmobile visit to Upperville in more than a decade; it will be the first blood drive of the Fauquier Chapter’s new fiscal year that began July 1. In response to the ever-increasing demand for blood, the chapter’s annual quota once again has been raised, as it has been for the past two years. ■ & Th' chapter barely attained its quota of 1200 in the flKal year that ended June 30. It now has been asked to obtain 1330 units of blood in the next 12 months.
