Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar were called to Norfolk due to the death of Mr. Pillar's sister, Mrs. Tinsley E. Amiss.

The Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church met last Tuesday night with Mrs. Jimmy Wayland. Those present included the Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mrs. Virginia Lewis, Mrs. Robert W. Brown, Mrs. Tom Klatko, Mrs. Nina B. Brown, Julian Brown, Mrs. Catherine Brown and Hugh Chrisman.

Mrs. Robert Nethers of Flint Hill was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr.
