The July meeting of the Washington Extension Homemakers Club will be a family picnic and swim at the home of Lucille Price on Thursday, July 29, at 5 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and serving spoon, bathing suit, husband and children.

Amissville Ladies To Meet
The Amissville Homemakers monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 10. at the Amissville Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. Extension Agent Birgitt Thornhill will present a program on What Color Becomes You. All members and interested persons are invited to attend.
Children’s Art Workshops
The final weekly series of art workshops for children from age 6 and up will be held at Sursum Corda School in Washington from August 9 through 13.
