it looked like the Washington beltway on Route 211 last Sunday as an inch or two of snow turned the county's roads to icy tobagoon runs and tied up traffic for over two hours.
As Elwood Jenkins of Sperryville was coming out on route 211 at Rediviva from route 622, his vehicle slid sideways into a car driven by Clarence Eugene Hix of Washington. D.C. No one was injured, according to Rappahannock Deputy John Godlewski, and no charges were filed due to the road conditions. But the accident, although minor, was serious to the motorists on both sides of the road who were brought to a standstill for two hours, beginning at 11 a.m.
