Dinner time is at six, and is usually the First hot meal, with soup, and meat or ftsh, vegetables and fruit or dessert.
To fill in the stretch between dinner and bedtime, there is another tea time at 8:00. with tea or coffee and biscuits, perhaps a more elaborate dessert if there is company.
This seems like a lot ofeating for one day. But most meals and teas are simple, mostly bread and butter. Marika Ford said that when she returns home for a visit she almost always loses weight, eating the Dutch way.
