Baumgardner’s suggestions were not discussed bv the planning commissioners at last Wednesday's meeting. Neither were there any speakers for or against the original or revised range amendments. Chairman A. Y. Stokes, one of the four commissioners at the session, reported that he'd received a letter from Werner Krebser in which the Wakefield District representative on the planning commission expressed unqualified support for the revised amendment.
With no comment, the four commissioners at Wednesday’s session — Stokes, Newbill Miller, James Swindler and Charles Estes — voted a unanimous recommendation of approval for the revised range amendment and a unanimous recommendation of denial for the amendment first submitted by Bowers last May. !
