Growing Pains
Many patients will bring their children into the office because they are complaining of pain in their feet and legs. The pain is often directly attributed to a poorly functioning foot. As a matter of fact, it is quite common for a flatfooted child to complain of aching leg muscles, especially after activity. When the foot is not functioning properly excessive stress is placed on these leg muscles and they may go into spasm. All children will complain of some discomfort in parts of their body from time to time, but recurrent pain in the same area should be followed up
