Dairy goats, Arab horses, antique automobiles and colonial ladies and gentlemen will 8hare the town with musicians, craftspeople and street vendors in the annual Independence Day celebration in Washington.
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department, which traditionally plans and benefits from the event, will offer lunch and supper, bluegrass entertainment, an antique automobile show and the annual late-aftemoon parade. The firemen will also be selling T-shirts and soft drinks aU day at their stand across from the courthouse.
The Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor the thrift shop at the town hall during the street festivities, and also sell barbecue and baked goods to hungry patriots throughout the day.
