4-H Benefit Bake Sale
The Sperryville Community 4-H Club will sponsor s bake sale on Gay Street on Wednesday, July 4. Anyone wishing to donate bake goods is asked to contact Elizabeth Oliver, president at 967-8907 or Barbara C. Burke, leader at 967.8068. All proceeds will benefit the chib and the support of the public would be appreciated.
Workshops Set
A workshop on “Developing A Peace Curriculum For Children,” is scheduled for July 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Come Back to the 5 k Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean,” this tragic-comedy will be shown at the Gay St. Theater Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1 at 7:30. It’s rated PG and stars Cher and Karen Black.
Gospel Concert
On July 6 at 8 p.m. at the Gay St. Theater a gospel concert will be held featuring The Young Adults Choir from the Macedonia Baptist Church and the Freeman family of Washington. Admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.60 for children.
Jewelry Demonstration
On July 4 at Rush River, craftsman Christopher Goodine of Hume will demonstrate silver jewelry making from 10:00 until 6:00.
