Continuing this week with more news of Father’s Day celebration activities occurring at Green Pastures Christian Home included the honoring of Ronald Shultz, Sr. Members of the family gathering were Mr. and Mrs. James Murray and Jay of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weakley and Melony of Etlan, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shultz, Jr. and Heather and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Moberely, Dean and Brian of Culpeper and Mrs. Shultz, Sr. and Timothy Of Boston. On the prior Thursday the Culpeper Christian Assembly held their fellowship picnic at Green Pastures.

Monday was a party day honoring the sixth birthday of Jay Murray. Those enjoying this occasion in addition to Jay’s mother, Mrs. Murray were Mrs. Sylvia Weakley and Melony, Mrs. Shultz, Jr. and Heather, Mrs. Dean Moberely, Dean and Brian and Mrs. Shultz, Sr.

Also on Monday the men including, Dr. Peter Goodfield, Murphy Murray, Ronald ’Shultz, Sr., Donald Weakley, Jimmie Murray, Dean Moberely and Ronald Shultz, Jr. all enjoyed a day of fishing at Chesapeake Bay.

Each Thursday morning bible study is held at Green Pastures at 10:30 a.m. and everyone is invited.

Tonya Cave returned to her home last Thursday following an appendectomy surgery in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Fincham and Donna attended the Davis family reunion at Lake Louisa, Orange County on Father’s Day.

Mrs. Frances Schober, Joey and Frank of Jamacia, New York were guests last weekend of Mrs. Ertha Hawkins and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hawkins. Joey had just returned from Alaska. His slides and stories presented to the family here proved very interesting.

Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Marshall of Culpeper were Saturday guests of Mrs. Ruth Lilian! and Reid.

Mrs. Rebecca Knight and Becky of Chester Gap were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dodson and Elvis. On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Christine Timbers entertained her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs.
