Rappahannock’s Board of Supervisors was in a budget-slimming mood June 25, and trimmed to $0.50 the proposed levy on real estate per $100 ofaaoesaed value.
The reduction marked the second slice the supervisors have taken in the proposed budget; original estimates for the real estate levy were as high as $0.58, later reduced to $0.54.
The supervisors reduced or deleted binding in several areas, among them:
