Miss Penny Peyton, who graduated from Culpeper High ScHool on June 9 won first place and received $1,000 for her essay entitled, “The Value of Doing Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.” This golden rule awlurd was established by the late Wert H. Hurt. Tbe essay was evaluated by a committee consisting of a clergyman, school administrator and guidance counselor.
