Ladies Auxiliary Bake Sale
The Washington Ladies Auxiliary will have a bake sale on Wednesday, July 4 at the Town Hall. Anyone in the area that hasn’t been contacted and would like to donate bake goods to the sale should bring them to the Town Hall on Wednesday morning.
July Gala Scheduled
The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a July Gala at the home of Larry and Nancy LeHew at Bel Air on Sunday, July 1, rain or shine. The festivities begin at 4 p.m.
Admission is $25 for two, and will offer a shot at one of three give-aways of $1,000, $500 or five days in Myrtle Beach.
Barbecued chicken, free beer, a cash bar, live band and fireworks at dark will make a memorable day.
Meeting Rescheduled
Tlie regular monthly meeting of the Flint Hill Fire Department will be held on Tuesday, July 3, instead of Wednesday, July 4.
4th Of July Art Show
Artists of all ages are invited to display their work at Middle Street Gallery on the 4th. Pictures must be ready to hang, brought to the Gallery between 10 and 6 on July 3 and picked up between 10 and 5 on July 5. The work will be for sale with the proceeds going to the artists except for 15 percent which the Gallery is donating to RAAC.
Jenkins Reunion
A reunion for the families of the late Aubrey and Ellen Baker Jenkins will be held on Sunday, July 8, beginning at 12:30, at the Rappahannock Park near Washington.
All family members and friends are urged to attend and bring a picnic lunch which will be served at 1 p.m.
