The Water and Sewer Authority must seek a three-month extention from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Philadelphia to insure funding of a waste-water treatment system for Sperryville, Authority members said during their regular meeting August 20.
The extention, which is considered routine by the State Water Control Board and the engineer for the project, points to further delays for the Authority, which will fall nearly two months behind schedule.
