Christal Denise Vest and Charles Mart Warier were married during % candlelight ceremony at the Flint Hill Methodist Church on July 21 at 6 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grady Vest of Flint HilL The groom is the son of Mr. Charles E. Werner and Mrs. Sally Vlasic, both of Corona, California.
The Rev. Merlin W. Shorb performed the double ring ceremony.
Sandra Hawkins was organist and Jimmy Nicholson was soloist, accompanied by his wife, Lisa.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her fether, the bride wore a traditional formal length gown of polyester organza. The gown featured a high neck and sheer leg o’mutton sleeves that were embellished with venise lace appliques. The lace-fitted bodice was enhanced with sequins and seed pearls on sheer yoke. The foil skirt flowed into a cathedral length train. Her headpiece was a two tier lace and lettuce leaf veil from a Chantilly camelot cap edged with matching lace. Her bouquet was a cascade of white roees, lilies, azaleas, prink apple blossoms, and burgundy gypeopheha with English Ivy and baby’s breath.
Mrs. Renee Calisto of Flint Hill, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a formal length gown of burgundy acetate taffeta with a stand-up lace collar and an embroidered front illusion yoke. Ruffles framed the yoke and curved across the back which cascaded down the back of the skirt. She carried a bouquet of prink and burgundy roees, carnations, and baby’s breath with prink streamers. To compriete her attire, she wore a comb of burgundy rose buds and baby’s breath in her hair.
