Running neck and neck with a host of legitimate concerns about the county’s proposed zoning ordinance is a long list of untruths being associated with its passage.
The misinformation has stirred up some people like a poke at a hornet’s nest.
Among some of the high-flying hoaxes:
• People won’t be allowed to pray in their own homes.
• People won’t be allowed to change the spark plugs in their own vehicles on their own property.
• Homosexuality will run rampant in Rappahannock.
