On the record, the present incumbent is surely not the man for the job.
A proposal, currently going the rounds in Washington, is that he be replaced with another import from Fauquier, a lawyer who was the single individual who spoke in favor of the proposed ordinance on the 15th. Would not this be a case of jumping from the frying pan into the fire? If we must have a dictator for social engineering in Rappahannock, let him, at least, be of us and for us.
