will soon be able to compete in academic contests testing skills in different subjects. “Our feeling is that our youngsters have good abilities” in areas such as mathematics, English, French, science and history, the headmaster said. “We want them to use their skills, their abilities in areas of academics.” He added the contests would complement what students learn in the classroom at the school—an education including required study of froeign languages, as well as plenty of reading and writing. “It’s kind of a rigorous program. It isn’t meant for every child.”
