To the editor:
The gentleman fielding questions at last night’B Planning Commission meeting stated that he was not the author of the controversial zoning plan being offered, but admitted he did draft the work. I think that the many religionists gathered there realize this morning just who the author really is.
The Bible tells us that in those last days a totalitarian government would rise up which would not only attempt to limit and/or otherwise destroy worship, but would even seek complete secular control over the population-to the extent that no one could even buy or sell without its permission. And it has been further understood by those who have eyes to see and ears to hear that this evil system would be the result of not only devilish leadership but secular humanism as well (the way that seems good to man but the end thereof is destruction). That this is being felt in Rappahannock County is not strange. It is a prevailing wind blowing across the face of the earth.
Secular humanism is the attempt to establish good in the world without the assistance of God. It is an attempt at fellowship without the spirit of truth, and at brotherhood in the family of mankind without the recognition of the divine parents who brought that family into being.
The forces of hell-men and women totally motivated by their evil side and their unborn again, beastlike naturaeare to align themselves with this totalitarian regijne. Perhaps this seems a little heavy* lift it works itself out in everyday lif$, and as we saw last night in local polities. Greed. Special interest. The opposite of the golden rule could quite easily be seen sitting on the stage shamelessly supporting a body of legislation which is designed to take away the very freedom which our fore
