Henry Gerhart, region manager for the firm, told Authority members July 16 his firm could prepare bid documents for the project within four to six weeks after receiving formal notification from the Authority to proceed, according to the minutes of the Authority’s meeting.
“We sent notice to proceed almost immediately (following the last meeting), Authority Chairman Robert Dennis reminded members.
Buckhart-Hom could not stick to the four-to-six-week schedule, however, and proposed a new schedule, which was reviewed by the Authority.
