PUBLIC NOTICE The Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority is preparing to carry out the Sperryville Sewage Treatment Project through the use in part of Virginia Community Improvement Grant funds. In the implementation of this project the following contracts and procurements will/may be made: a) Construction Contracts: 1) Wastewater Collection System - Septic Tank Effluent Pumping System; 2) 0.055 MGD Extended Aeration Package Plant and Masonry Control Building. b) Service Contracts: 1) Soil Compaction Testing; 2) Boring and Jacking under Roads; 3) Installation of Septic Tanks and Pumps on Properties; 4) Plumbing; 5) Heating; 6) Ventilating; 7) Painting; 8) Masonry; 9) Roofing; 10) Well Drilling; 11) Landscaping; 12) Paving.
c) Major Equipment and Materials: 1) Bore and Jacks; 2) Material Backfill; 3) Sidewalk Replacement; Permanent Pavement Restoration (various types); 5) PressuySewer, Sewer Laterals, and Valves (1Vi”-4"); 6) Septic Tanks and Pumps (Types A, B-1, B-2, or C); 7) Air Compressor; 8) Pump Station; 9) Tank. The Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or owned by persons residing in Rappahannock County.
