“Not a single (permitted home occupation) is a blue-collar job,” Pat SaltonstaU of Flint Hill said. "That’s not appropriate for this county.”

Sjrid McNear, who explained Article 6 of the proposed zoning ordinance which outlines accessory uses and home occupations: ‘There’s not one activity in the county today that will cease or be modified in the new ordinance.”

According to Sean Kilpatrick of Woodville, the text of the proposed ordinance needs consistency review in a variety of areas: nurseries and greenhouses; fruit/apple stands; bed and breakfasts; golf courses/driving ranges.

Kilpatrick also said more definitions were needed: for automotiverepair garages, arenas/stadiums, commercial feed lots, and revision of the definition of a “campsite.”
