Local Rappahannock citizens, a very generous out-of-county couple, and two New York City-based family foundations have swelled The Child Care and Learning Center’s Building Fund to $101,092. The directors of the Center learned this news at its bimonthly meeting on Aug. 12. When the Greve Foundation releases a challenge grant, construction funds for the new Center will soar to an aggregate total of $176,000 or 77 percent of the projected $230,000 needed to complete the facility.
