Mrs. Betty Layman of Winchester was a Monday guest of Mrs. Warren Presgraves. Mrs. Presgravea’ nieces, Michelle Brady of Front Royal and DeeDee Brady of Florida were Sunday guests. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dofermier of Front Royal were recent guests.

Brad Alther of Front Royal has been spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch and with his grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Pullen.

Mr. and Mrs. Rick Kinsey, Keith and Kevin of Front Royal were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff. Visiting last Sunday with the Huffs was her brother, Robert H. Lilian! of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cloud of Fredericksburg were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.

Mr. and Mrs. Stevie Lillard and family of Manassas were Sunday guests of Mrs. Frances Hudson and family. Visiting in the Hudson home on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Barry Hudson of Front Royal.

Mrs. Libby Bolton left Friday to visit her sister, Mrs. Irene Hamilton and family at High Point, N.C. and they spent some time at the beach.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers of Sperryville were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson.

Mrs. Ethel Pullen spent the weekend with her daughters, Mrs. Debbie Wimmer, Mrs. Linda Corder, Mrs. Thelma Jeffries and Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson at Front Royal.

Allen Vest of Columbia, S.C. spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson and Mrs. Robert Nethers and Clyde Lillard attended a picnic on the Skyline Drive Sunday in honor of the birthday of John P. Lillard.

The Charles Hickersons visited on Friday with Mrs. Martha Jenkins at Etlan and with David Huff and Mr. and Mrs. David Sisk at Slate Mills.

Mrs. W.A. Moora with Mis. Charlotte MacTurk, Noel Ward, Tracy Nicewarner and Aaron Moore, all of Front Royal and Jennifer, Robyn and Bob Moore, Jr. of Orlean spent a week at their cottage on the Chesapeake Bay.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis joined Mr. and Mrs. James Todd of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lockridge of Alexandria and their mother, Mrs. Eleanor Timmons of An nan dale at Camegies Restaurant to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Timmons, who was 77 years old.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronny Gentry of Manassas were Sunday guests of Mr. Gentry’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Gentry.

Mrs. Wade Pullen and Mrs. Luther Atkins spent five days recently on a trip to the Smokey Mountains.

Mrs. Wade Pullen was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Bywaters, Jr.
