Annual f ellowship Day The First Baptist Church Usher’s Board will hold its annual Fellowship Day, Sunday, September 2 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington. Pastor Anna Alls burg of Sperryville will conduct the services. The regular services of the First Baptist Church on Sunday, September 2 and 9 will be conducted at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Aubrey Harris of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gainesville. The public is invited.
Guest Speaker At Woodville Lawrence Pankey from the Virginia Baptist Board will be guest *P**k^r at Woodville Baptist Church on Sunday, August 26. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. followed by worship service at 11. Wednesday evening prayer service and Bible study will be held each week at 7 JO p.m. at the church.
Anniversary Celebration The members erf the Promise Land Baptist Church will observe the eighth anniversary of their pastor, Rev. John R. Pendleton on Sunday, August 26 at 3 p.m. at the church.
