The club also sponsors overnight trips and would like to sponsor such activities as bicycle, canoe and rafting trips, climbing, orienteering and spelunking. Volunteers with experience or interest in any of these activities are encouraged to share their knowledge and ideas.
Participants may meet at Wakefield to catch a bus or meet at the site of the outing. Dates of outings are subject to change for various reasons, so please contact Hunt Harris the week before a scheduled hike for verification. He may be contacted at the school, 635-8111, or at home, 987-8564.
The schedule for upcoming hikes is as follows: March 24—the Peak; April 21—Hazel Mountain; May 4—Old Rag Mountain; May 25—White Oak Canyon.
