Bottley, Jr., regional manager for the Virginia Department of Corrections, presented a certificate of inspection to Sheriff John H. Woodward. The jail was inspected in October and was found to be in full compliance with Department of Corrections minimum standards. The inspection is good for three years, and spot checks are conducted twice a year by the regional manager._
