The Washington Town Council approved a town water works budget during its meeting on Wednesday, June 12 that will raise the minimum water bill to $6 a month with an additional 20 cent charge for those who use 3,000 to 10,000 gallons of water and 30 cerjts for users of over 10,000 gallons a month. The increase will take effect immediately.
