Frank Frazier, Sr.
Retired Farmer
Frank Ray Frazier, Sr., 88, of Boston, died Sunday, June 16 at his residence.
A native of Sperryville, he was the son of Samuel Howard and Eugenia Fincham Frazier. He was a retired fanner and had resided at Boston for the past 60 years.
He was a member of Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville for 66 years. His wife, Lizzie Dodson Frazier, died in 1980.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville, four sons, Shelvy Frazier of Castleton, Holtzman Frazier of Fredericksburg, Harold Frazier of Culpeper and Frank Ray Frazier, Jr. of Boston, seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren and three great grandsons.
Additional survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Jenkins, Mrs. Edgar Jenkins and Mrs. Howard Jenkins, all of Culpeper and Mrs. Bessie Jenkins of James ville, North Carolina.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 19 at 2 p.m. at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by Elder Wayne Richards. Burial was at the Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Van Nostrand, Alphaeus Cannon, Thomas Winkler, George Beard, Owen Cubbage and Marvin Burke.
