Gerald W. Tays, 45, has been selected Assistant Superintendent of Shenandoah National Park, effective June 9, replacing William M. Loftis, Jr., who retired in January. Tays was a district manager in North Cascades National Park, Washington.
Bom in Providence, Rhode Island, Tays graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and has a masters degree from the University of Maine.
