Semi-Skilled Laborers The Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation is accepting applications for temporary full-time hourly semiskilled laborers, effective on or after July 1, 1985 for assignment to its maintenance crews. The positions arc locateain Rappahannock and Fauquier Counties. These positions will terminate on or before September 30, 1985. Applicants must be 18 years of age or olaer; possess a valid State motor vehicle operator’s license; ability to operate a 3-ton dump truck; and have the physical ability to perform heavy manual tasks out-of-doors and in varying weather and terrain conditions. Applicants shall possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Salary is $4.65 hourly. Applications are available at the Warrenton Residency Highway Office or at the Virginia Employment Commission. Completed applications must be submitted before 5:00 p.m. on June 21, 1985.
