PS—Don’t necessarily believe everything you hear in church about creation. A few weeks ago I had the experience, while visiting a particular local church, of hearing a Sunday School teacher (who was also the pastor of the church) declare that the world was already here when God did the creating described in Genesis chapter 1. He never did explain where it came from though, or how it could have already been here since the creation described in Genesis is said to have occurred “in the beginning.” I would have liked to ask him, and I thought, since it was Sunday School, which is supposed to be for learning, that I might have a chance. He never did allow questions, however. I suppose if I said things like that, I wouldn’t allow questions either.
