Last Sunday, Doug and Becky Gore had a wonderful day with their son, Ricky, and his wife, Beverly, and granddaughter, Jan, who was celebrating her ninth birthday. Several of Jan’s friends were there, and she had a grand time.
Later that evening, the Gores attended their church, Gourd vine Baptist, where their pastor was being ordained.
Reminders for RCHS students:
Come to the dance at the high school tomorrow night (Oct. 4) for only $2. A real, social function to meet with your friends from school. Time — 8-11 p.m. Casual dress and tennis shoes. Bring your favorite records and cassette tapes. Your favorite DJ will play them.
On Oct. 5, the Pep Bus for RCHS will take you to the soccer game being played at Wakefield. Game time is 2 p.m. The bus will leave around 1 p.m. (Call Mr. Toth for more information.) Parents and friends are all enthusiastically invited. Rah! Rah! Victory!
