tian is that some people claim to be Christians and yet reject whole branches of the Christian family because of racial prejudice. Both blacks and whites are guilty of this. I have even heard and read some preaching which tries to justify such an attitude. It cannot be justified from the Bible, for it is totally contrary to the Bible, and the preaching which tries to justify it must always resort to twisting and distorting what the Bible says.
If the person who harbors such an attitude is really saved (I’m not sure it is possible, but it may be), the very best that can be said for him is that he is disobeying the commands of God's Word for Christians to love one another, is grieving the Holy Spirit by rejecting his unifying ministry, and is displaying gross carnality. May God grant that many who are guilty of this will turn away from their sin and begin to follow the Lord whom they say is their Saviour.
