Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell visited Mrs. Campbell’s sister, Mrs. Ann Lockhart, of Front Royal, in Winchester Hospital on Tuesday and Saturday.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jenkins were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Campbell, of Amissville, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell. It was Luther Campbell’s birthday. Several weeks igo, Mrs. Jenkins had a dinner for her mother’s birthday.
The paragraph about the Crewses in last week’s news should have read: The newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baber, of Brandywine, Md., were weekend guests of Mrs. Baber’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Crews. The Babers and Crewses enjoyed dinner on Sunday at the Cacapon Restaurant in Wardensville, W.Va.

The Washington Ladies Auxiliary will be selling baked goods, apples, cider, hot dogs and coffee in the Trinity Church lot on Oct. 19 and 20. The group needs donated baked goods.
We were happy to see the glowing, smiling face of Ms. Tanya Brown, of Silver Spring, Md., visiting with friends and relatives in Rappahannock over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Meneffee, Jr. and daughter, Patricia, of Warrenton, visited his grandmother, Mrs. Frances Eubank, on Saturday evening.
Donald Foster and Helen Gray visited her mother in the nursing home in Warrenton on Friday and had lunch at the Steak House.
Dorothy Foster spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foster in Stafford.
