Charles L. Jacobs
Mr. Charles Leslie Jacobs, 98, of Madison, died Sept. 30 in Orange County Nursing Home. Mr. Jacobs was a native of Rappahannock County and a retired fanner.
His survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hazel L. Smith, of Nokesville, and Mrs. Katherine J. Beahm, of Alexandria; three sons, Harry T. Jacobs, of Standardsville, George S, Jacobs, of Bristow, and Paul J. Jacobs, of Christianburg; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Grace Brown, of Arlington; and one brother, Ivar Jacobs, of Amiss ville.
A funeral service was held at Clore Funeral Home Chapel on Oct. 2. The Rev. David Webster officiated. Burial was in Warrenton Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
