Wakefield School in Huntly will hold its homecoming on Oct. 4 and 5. The festivities will begin Friday afternoon with a pep rally for all students during which the homecoming queen and her court will be announced. Friday evening there will be a bonfire at the school where the seniors will carry on the tradition of burning a large “W.”
On Saturday, the varsity soccer team will host Rappahannock in a match that is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Following the match, there will be a reception at the home of Mrs. Lynn, Sr. for the Alumni.
