Representative D. French Slaughter, Jr., will send his District Representative, Jane Clatterbuck, to Rappahannock County on Wednesday, February 12.
Mrs. Clatterbuck will be available to talk with constituents who have problems of a Federal nature, such as those with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, IRS, Office of Personnel Management, Veterans Administration, etc. with which they need assistance. People are also invited who wish to express their opinions on national legislative issues, or simply to discuss matters of concern.
She will be at the courthouse from 10-30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Bicycles found
Two bicycles were left at the court house in Washington on January 20. The bicycles may be claimed with correct identification. To claim the bikes go to the Clerk’s Office.
Story Hour
at library
Story Hour for pre-schoolers will be held at the Rappahannock County Library beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5.
It is expected that there will be a series of four' readings which will be conducted by volunteers. StorA hour? have also bet?A!?cire<AfsAs! for February 12,19 and 26.
This is a wonderful time for children to hear new stories and songs, and to learn finger plays, riddles and rhymes. The hour will be an important experience for children soon to enter kindergarten.
