Our own Sean Bennett has posted the only perfect score this year on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test for college board examinations which was given to more than one million high school students last October. He didn’t miss a question. He is the son of Culpeper County Commonwealth Attorney and Mrs. John Bennett and we offer our congratulations.

honored
The Rev. Irene C. Dutton was honored recently at a banquet in Wilmington, Del., on her 21st anniversary as the pastor of the Mothlr Union and AME Church. Rev. Dutton has served in the Christian ministry for 48 years.
Rev. Dutton is the mother of Alfreda Dean of Front Royal. Mrs. Dean’s husband is the Rev. George 0. Dean, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodvillp
