Eighteen seventh and eighth grade students from Wakefield School are participating in the Johns Hopkins University Talent Search which is sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Academically Talented Youth (CTY). The search attempts to identify mathematically and verbally talented youth.
To qualify to participate in the Talent Search, students must be either in the seventh grade or born after December 31, 1972. The students must have scored at least in the 9th percentile on appropriate grade
