Additional survivors include four brothers, Dwight Frye of Washington, Jackie Frye of Luray, Tommy Frye of New Market, and Charles Frye of Mt. Jackson, and a sister, Margaret Day of Edinburg.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 29, at the Bradley Funeral Home, Luray, by the Rev. Timothy Teates and William Ballance. Burial was in the Deahm’s Chapel Cemetery, Luray.
Lydia Snead
Lydia Crabbe Snead, 81, of Charlottesville, died Monday, January 27, 1986 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville.
Mrs. Snead was bom March 2, 1904, the daughter of the late Elijah and Jane Lewis Crabbe. She was formerly of Sperryville.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. John P. Snead III, of Charlottesville; one daughter, Mrs. Eldon Lindsey, of Charlottesville; one son, Dr. John Peyton Snead IV, of Rixeyville.
