Mrs. Doris Coughlin of our area, Mrs. Almeda Armentrout of Hyattsville, Md., and Mrs. Mildred Nichols of Culpeper have returned home from a week long tour in Southern California, where they attended the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena and the Lawrence Welk Show in Los Angeles, as well as seeing many other interesting places throughout the week. Enroute home at the St. Louis Airport, Mrs. Coughlin was met by friends, the Dwight Cramer family and Alan Zagurski, who are former residents here and now reside in and around St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Meredith and Jessica and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Meredith and sons of Leon were guests during last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Nicholson and family.
Mrs. C. D. Marshall was in Ashland last week to visit Mr. Marshall, who is a patient in a nursing home there.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Michele, Michael and Christopher visited Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper on Friday evening.
