Mrs. Frances Thornton and her sister Mrs. Paul Thompson of Fork Union spent last Saturday with their aunt, Mrs. Frances Churchill Jones in Richmond. Mrs. Thornton was an overnight guest of the Thompsons, returning home Sunday.

Cletus Clarke re-entered Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, on Sunday for further tests.

Mrs. T. M. Johnston spent from Thursday to Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meade and Beth and Broocks in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance was hostess at dinner last Thursday evening at The Little Chef, near Madison. Her guests included Mrs. Joe Sherman, Mr. and Mrs, Fred W. Schaefer, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve and Mrs. Brown Miller.

Mrs. Frances Tabler who was enroute from Florida to her home here was hospitalized in Danville last Wednesday by a sudden illness. She was met in Lynchburg on Sunday by Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. B. M. Varner for the return home. Mrs. Tabler is fine now.
