Virgie Brown
„ Virgie May Brown, of East Orange, N. J., formerly of Rappahannock County, die'd Saturday, January 18, 1986. Mrs. Brown was a housewife.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Brown of Amissville and David Brown of Woodville; one daughter, Sadie Curtis of East Orange; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Cornelius Anderson of Millwood.
Funeral services were held at Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, Thursuay, January 23, with the Rev. TJ. S. Brokenburr of Washington, D. C., officiating. Interment was at the family section of the church cemetery.
W. C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
George Jenkins
George B. Jenkins, 53, of Finks- % burg, Md., died Saturday, January 18, at Carroll County General Hospital, Westminister, Md. A native of Culpeper County, he had lived in Finksburg for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Lou Jenkins, Finksburg, his mother, Mrs. Nora Jenkins, Finksburg, one brother, Robert C. Jenkins, New Market, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted January 21 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, by the Rev. Guy L. Ferrell. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Washington.
Active pallbearers were Donald Gross, John Robertson, Ray Duvall, Lester Uhler, Ken. Ryan, Lester Curtis, Jr., and Carl Menefee.
