Pizzas, pizzas everywhere, on counters, stove and sink. Pepperoni pizzas, sausage pizzas, mushroom pizzas, cheese pizzas and even anchovy pizzas. Brad Fisher is up to his elbows in dough, rolling out more pizzas. Around his island of pizza production, teenage traffic ebbs and flows, checking on the progress of dinner.
It’s appropriate: Brad Fisher fixing this typically American food which, in fact, has been adopted and adapted from a foreign country. Like the pizza from Italy, most of the young people who crowd the kitchen in the Fishers’ Washington home have been adopted and adapted from native lands thousands of miles away.
